Characteristics of D-dimer reagent determination

One methodological principle that can be utilized is the gold labeling method of monoclonal antibody immunofiltration.

The utilization of monoclonal antibodies targeting specific epitopes within the D-dimer structure granted remarkable specificity in this study. The antibodies exhibited an exclusive affinity towards the D-dimer protein, a fibrin degradation product, thus eliminating the possibility of cross-reactivity with other plasma constituents like fibrin yuan and fibrin monomer. This exceptional specificity ensured accurate and reliable detection of the D-dimer molecule in the samples under investigation.

3) Provide quality control samples for each kit.

D-dimer is a widely used biomarker to detect the presence of thrombotic diseases in the body. Its strength lies in its strong anti-interference, as high levels of bilirubin and hemoglobin do not affect the determination of the results. However, the presence of blood cells or platelets in plasma samples may interfere with the outcomes and need to be removed via centrifugation. In clinical settings, a normal D-dimer reading is typically below 0.3mg/l. If the D-dimer levels increase, it indicates an increased risk of thrombotic diseases and higher fibrinolytic activity in the body.
