Product Introduction

During the fall and winter months, there are yearly influenza outbreaks. The symptoms of respiratory viral infection caused by SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and influenza B are identical.
Aiding in the diagnosis of SARS-Cov-2, Influenza A, and Influenza B infection, the flu antigen test is a highly sensitive and easy-to-use screening assay. This test offers a simple and effective way to accurately detect these respiratory viruses, allowing for prompt and appropriate treatment to be administered. Patients can feel confident in their diagnosis, and healthcare providers can provide the best possible care while minimizing the risk of transmission to others. The flu antigen test is an essential tool in the fight against these common and potentially dangerous infections.

The qualitative flu antigen test is designed to quickly detect the nucleoprotein antigens of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), influenza A, and influenza B in human nasopharyngeal and oropharyngeal swab samples. This test is intended for individuals who are suspected of having a respiratory viral infection consistent with COVID-19, as determined by their healthcare provider.

The features:

Simultaneous detection of SARS-CoV-2, Flu A, and Flu B is made possible by flu antigen tests, making them ideal for conducting screenings to identify suspected COVID-19 infections.

Tests for flu antigen are characterized by their ability to accurately identify the presence of specific high-affinity N protein antibodies. They demonstrate both high sensitivity and good specificity.

The colloidal gold method is a quick and efficient way to obtain results in just 15 minutes without the need for any additional equipment. This method utilizes non-invasive sampling techniques, such as the availability of nasopharyngeal swabs. It offers a convenient and time-saving approach for testing individuals.

Test procedure
In order to conduct a flu antigen test accurately, it is important to let all the necessary components and specimens reach a consistent temperature beforehand. This temperature range should be between 15 to 30 ℃ or 59 to 86 ℉. It is recommended that everything is allowed to equilibrate before the start of the test. By doing so, you can ensure that the test results are not affected by any temperature differences. Thus, taking the time to properly prepare for the test is essential in obtaining accurate results.
To begin the testing process, the test cassette should be removed from its pouch and placed flat on the testing bench. It's important to follow these steps precisely to ensure accurate results.
To begin the testing process, simply take the specimen extraction tube and hold it upright. Then, reverse the tube and transfer about 100μL or 3 drops of the sample to each of the specimen wells marked as "S" on the test cassette. Once the sample is in place, start the timer and wait for the test to run its course. This simple process will allow you to quickly and accurately test your specimen.
