Elevated levels of serum AFP can be observed in nearly 80% of HCC patients, 50% of germ cell tumors, pancreatic cancer and lung cancer, cirrhosis, and other gastrointestinal tumors to varying degrees. The AFP Assay Kit, which is based on the immunochromatographic detection principle, utilizes the double antibody sandwich method to detect AFP concentration in human serum or plasma.
